Reach Recap

Since the official launch of Reach initiative, we have raised well over $10,000. With that, we have been able to live out the beginning stages of our vision to use content, outreach, and events to share the love of Jesus, build relationships, and help people live for something greater than themselves.

The majority of our funds have gone towards outreach. Since our launch, we have built relationships and served many homeless people in the Charlotte, NC area. We have practically served the homeless with food and water, prayer and bible study, hotels during freezing temperatures, and employment assistance. It has been difficult to maintain relationships, but we have been able to keep consistent contact with someone that we are currently helping to get a job and housing. We have also been able to help a single mother keep her housing as she was on the verge of eviction. We are prayerful about who we help and how we help them. We do not want to band-aid issues. We want to help people who are willing to put in the necessary work for a better life. Our goal is not to give handouts, but to assist people in their journey to a better life with Christ.

With outreach taking up most of the efforts, content has been kept to a minimum. Blogs, podcasts, and social media will be posted more frequently this year (2025). We currently have two podcast interviews scheduled and four blogs in the draft. The editing process takes time, and with me working and being in school full time, I am not able to put out as much content as I’d like. My goal is to at least put out more social media posts and newsletters for donors to stay updated.

We have consistently hosted small events for single moms and struggling women to promote living in a healthy community. This is a partnership with a local women’s ministry to help women get back on their feet. We have provided meals for them, games and books for the children, and had encouraging conversations. This May, we will host our first men’s event.

In addition to our content, outreach, and event ministries, we were able to help serve western North Carolina after the tragic Hurricane Helene hit. We rented a mobile mission trailer to host 16 volunteers who went out and served people in need for 10 days.

I will share more updates in the coming months. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. You all are in my thoughts daily, and I am forever grateful for your support in this ministry God has put on my heart.
